First off, hi all, I been checking these forums for a while and made some decent money out of it, thought I'd give a lil back to the people posting here. Forgive me if someone posted a similar build already, but i couldnt find one.

Koosun's staff I wanted for my ele, and ironically, and ele is best to farm him with..

However, my ele is lvl 11, and wont meet Koosun for quite a while so I turned to my favorite class : necro

its a fairly simple build, and very effective :

Necro/ranger

16 Deathmagic
rest of points in wilderness survival

Equipment : I Used morgriff's and a collectors 20/20 offhand, but anything DM based with decent energy will do.

skill bar :

Discord[E]
Signet of agony
Plague sending
Rising bile
Troll
Stormchaser

The run up to the guy is simple, and has been explained a few times here already, so I wont bother you with that.

Get within casting range, hit troll, cast bile, signet of agony & plague sending.
he now has a condition and a hex, and thats all Discord needs to do 79 dmg every 3 secs or less.

Spam discord till bleeding stops, wait for bile to end and do 120 dmg, then rinse and repeat the above steps.

running time, 2/3 mins
killing time, 90 secs.

end result :

Who said Deathmagic was for MM only?

Can you post the way to Koosun or something, I can't seem to get to em without dying (I haven't even seen him on my radar and I've tried getting to him 10-15 times ><)

edit: I finally figured out how to get to em so I guess the map won't be necessary, oh and I got the staff first time

Argh, Cant get to him, the second grp always kill me! to much degen dnt have time 2 put troll on as i gotta keep moving so they dnt follow!!
any tips plz!

w00t easy peasy!, 1 thing does he drop if u use the celestial horror? i use him to run past that grp :P easy then

you only face one group at a time when you run to him, so cast troll and hit stormchaser to get past that group.

on a rare occaision a bad spawn will casue you to die, but that should be 1/15

Hehe, i suppose Discord is alot quicker than plain degen.

Its still easier to get your ele there and own him with treble cast Celestial Storm though

Discord is way quicker, it's to bad I suck at running with the N/R build or else I'd be running this one instead of my me/a

Something seems off about the numbers for Rising Bile. Every time I have tested, Canthan Bosses retain their 1/2 duration hexes and conditions. Which means that RB will only be on your target for 15 seconds, meaning 60 damage, not 120.

That said, I am still gonna give it a try. I love to be able to farm with my necro, and I want a new boss solo now that Milthuran is boring.

a chance of 1/15 for a bad spawn yr never had a spawn when I didn't have to run past 2 groups

i ran a similar build, but i used Rotting Flesh instead of Signet + Plague Sending. I'm sure this works just as well though.

Just tried this and it worked very well. No drop, but it was fun getting there. Will try more later.

pretty bad farm cuz the run takes long (you always have to w8 for storm chaser) and it often fails because the groups make it impossible to make a stop. killing a boss that doesn't do anything is easy getting there is the hard part
